Can I get pre-approved before bidding at Emerald Auction Centre?
Yes. We strongly recommend it. Pre-approval gives you a clear bidding limit so you can register, bid and settle without holding up the auction. Most pre-approvals are issued within 24 hours of application.
Do you finance every lot at Emerald Auction Centre?
We finance the full catalogue: earthmoving, trucks and trailers, tractors and farming gear, mining equipment and general plant. There is no make, model or year-of-manufacture cap. Approval is based on the asset value and your business profile.
How quickly can you settle once I win a lot?
Once your bid is successful, we co-ordinate funds direct to Emerald Auction Centre. With pre-approval already in place, settlement typically happens within the auction's standard settlement window so you can collect your gear without delay.
Will applying affect my credit score?
No. The initial eligibility check has no impact on your credit file. A formal credit enquiry is only completed once you decide to proceed with a full application.
Do I need to own property to get approved?
No. Equipment finance is secured against the asset itself. We have lender panels that approve non-property owners every day, including sole traders and contractors.
Can you finance older trucks or used machinery from the auction?
Yes. Unlike most banks, we do not apply strict age limits. We finance any-age assets based on quality, condition and earning capacity, which is exactly what an auction catalogue is built around.
Is low-doc finance available for auction purchases?
Yes. Low-doc options are available for eligible ABN holders. This means less paperwork and faster turnaround, which matters when you are buying against an auction date.
Do I need a deposit to bid?
Many of our clients buy at auction with no deposit. Deposit requirements depend on your profile and the asset, but no-deposit options are available for eligible buyers.
What if I want to bid on multiple lots?
Tell us your overall bidding budget and we will pre-approve a facility sized to cover several lots. You can then bid across the catalogue without having to reapply for each one.
